I had the honor on June 1st of being invited by our local Chamber of Commerce, to join four other veterans, each of us given five minutes (with five minutes of question follow ups) to tell stories about what we think about on Memorial Day. The setting was Performance Park located on Fall River in downtown Estes Park, Colorado. And since it was off-and-on raining, the setting was not unlike the monsoons of Vietnam, perfect for placing me in the optimum mindset.
